Actress Nicole Eggert, who first hit it big on “Baywatch,” is back in the spotlight as one of the competitors on “Splash,” ABC’s celebrity diving show on which she recently bruised herself badly.
Eggert, 41, the mother of two young daughters, is also starring in “Past Lies,” premiering Friday, May 3 on Lifetime Movie Network, in which she plays a married mother of two with a secret.
Q: How are you feeling after your “Splash” mishap?
Eggert: I’m feeling great and I’m actually a bit proud of my “battle scars.”
Q: What was it about “Past Lies” that caught your attention?
Eggert: I’m a woman and have had my own struggles in the past, so I love to see a real, strong woman’s role instead of a “cookie cutter” female part.
Q: Are you more focused on your family life now or on your acting career?
Eggert: I’m always focused on my family life, but I believe that to be a good mom and a role model for my kids, I also need to fulfill my passion for acting.
