Biker crew busted on Long Island Expressway

This wild crew of motorcyclists was busted for speeding and weaving around terrified motorists along the Long Island Expressway on Monday, Suffolk County cops said.

Swarmed by roaring motorcycles, alarmed drivers — aware of the West Side Highway biker rage — called 911 at around noon and reported the road hogs recklessly slicing in and out of traffic.

Suffolk County police dispatched a highway patrol unit to quietly observe the group for 10 eastbound exits, cops said.

The brazen bikers committed practically every traffic violation in the book — from speeding and switching lanes without signaling to passing on the shoulder and tailgating, Suffolk cops said.

One officer radioed for another local unit to assist in pulling the crew over en masse, Suffolk Sgt. George Hodge said.

There was no chase involved in the incident and the suspects surrendered quietly after being ordered to the side of the road at Exit 63 near Medford, cops said.

Emilio Morales, 28; Edward Gianino, 25; Ian Glass, 20; Nicholas Belletti, 28; Oskar Bucki, 20; David Golaszewski, 20; and Victor Dasilva were all taken into custody.

The alleged speed demons hung their heads in silence after being marched single file into the Sixth Precinct station house in Selden for processing.

Hodge said the bikers were not part of an organized club or gang but were riding together as a pack for a Columbus Day cruise.

“Our approach is that the roads and highways are for all motorists to use safely,” Hodge said after the bust.

A Suffolk tow truck was called and the gleaming cycles were piled aboard and impounded.

Hodge said that the cycles were all high-end Asian imports and that the bikers were clocked at speeds in excess of 90 mph at various times during the pursuit.

The bikers were charged with reckless driving and a slew of other traffic violations.
