The Rev. Al Sharpton is set to stand with Jesse Jackson, his former rival, at a rare joint appearance in Midtown next month, sources told The Post.
Sharpton and his National Action Network are hosting the Rev. Jackson as one of the speakers at a civil-rights conference at the Sheraton New York.
Jackson, Sharpton’s former mentor, became his competitor on the national stage.
Both preachers have been involved with events like dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
