YOUTUBE WIFE HINTS: EX-HUBBY MADE DEATH THREATS

The curtain has come down on her marriage, but YouTube yeller Tricia Walsh-Smith refuses to get off the stage.

The daffy divorcee held a press conference yesterday, where her lawyer insinuated that ex-hubby Philip Smith and his lackeys at the Shubert Organization were behind a slew of death threats against her.

“Our firm has uncovered what we believed is a concerted effort by Philip Smith, and by individuals and organizations tied to him, to interfere with Tricia’s business relationships, destroy her financially and inflict emotional distress prior to, during and in the wake of the divorce process,” Joseph McCaffery said.

He said his client – who a judge ruled had been “cruel and inhuman” to her husband by humiliating him in rants she posted online – had received a number of death threats in the past week, both by phone and through her official Web site, triciawalshsmith.com.

He said IP addresses show the most frequent visitors to her site have been from the Shubert Organization, and the Broadway company’s “activity coincides with comments that have been at best vicious, and these submissions include foul language and death threats.”

Smith’s lawyer didn’t immediately return a call for comment. A source close to the producer said the only threats he was aware of were Walsh-Smith’s repeated warnings that she would “bring the Shubert Organization down.”

McCaffery – sounding as if he was laying the groundwork for a civil suit against Smith – also repeated allegations from the divorce trial that Smith had blocked two of his “Bonkers” playwright wife’s shows from being produced.

Walsh-Smith – who gained worldwide attention for her shrieking YouTube rants about her lack of a sex life with her 77-year-old hubby – was uncharacteristically restrained at the briefing.

“I am proud to say that despite the abuse of influence by Philip Smith and the Shubert Organization, and their ongoing efforts to bring me down, I will not be bullied,” she said.

Under the terms of their pre-nuptial agreement, which the judge ruled was valid when he ended their eight-year marriage on Monday, Walsh-Smith will get $750,000 but has to clear out of their Park Avenue apartment.

She’s appealing Justice Harold Beeler’s ruling and had vowed to stay in their posh pad, but McCaffery said yesterday that he’d struck a deal with Smith’s lawyer for her to clear out in the next few weeks in return for expedited payment of the $750,000.

He said she has new living accommodations lined up, but wouldn’t say where they were.

A source said the 52-year-old battling blonde’s failed bid to get the pre-nup tossed actually cost her big bucks. That’s because a clause in the deal said Smith was responsible for her legal fees in any divorce – unless she challenged the pre-nup.

A source said Smith’s Chicago-based lawyers have been staying with her in Smith’s apartment. Smith told The Post’s Michael Riedel on Tuesday that his housekeeper had complained they were “messy.”

Walsh-Smith kicked the housekeeper out yesterday after seeing the article, a source said.
