GODIN, 29, AND GALLOF, 29

JULY 3 – It’s pretty much a known rule not to talk about ex-boyfriends on the first date. So when Anna Gallof and Gabe Godin’s rabbi mentioned one during their wedding ceremony – under the chupah, no less – there wasn’t a closed jaw among the 225 guests. Luckily, the bond between Gallof and Godin isn’t easy to shake, and the celebration at Temple B’nai Sholom in Rockville Centre, Long Island, continued seamlessly, complete with their first dance to Otis Redding’s “That’s How Strong My Love Is.” The Park Slope couple met seven years ago through friends, and although Godin, an artist, teacher and director of new media for Blackheart Records, knew Gallof, a children’s clothing designer, was the one from the start, it took her a bit longer to commit to something more. “Gabe pursued me for a while – especially during the summer of ’06, when we stayed in a share house together in Fire Island,” says the bride. “I finally realized the perfect person was right in front of me the whole time, and now I’m so excited to share the rest of my life with him. He makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world!”
