Plush Rush pad for sale

He wasn’t in that big a rush to give up his garish Fifth Avenue apartment.

A full year after vowing to leave New York because of Gov. Paterson’s tax-the-rich campaign, conservative radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh put his over-the-top digs on sale for $13.9 million.

The 10-room penthouse has sweeping views of Central Park. But rather than look out the window, he installed murals on the walls and ceiling depicting palm trees on tropical beaches.

Limbaugh, who bought the place for $5 million, is moving to a Palm Beach mansion.
