ESPN reaps whirlwind over Storm comment

* ESPN suspended Tony Kornheiser for his sexist comments about sports announcer Hannah Storm’s clothes — a sad commentary on how women are treated, both on and off the sports fields even today (“ESPN Sidelines ‘Sexist’ Male Colleague,” Feb. 24).

Passé, antiquated, hand-me-down sexist views no longer fit.

* ESPN should give us a break.

The network goes out of its way to hire the biggest blowhard clowns in the sports world and then takes the high road when one of them acts like an idiot.

Please, they promote the idiocy!

As far as Storm is concerned, Kornheiser only said what many people were thinking. I’ve heard women say a lot meaner things than what Tony said.

ESPN, you reap what you sow.

* You guys got it all wrong. What a bunch of suck-up brown-nosers.

Kornheiser has it right. Have you seen Storm recently on ESPN?

Your paper should have backed Kornheiser. Shame on you.
