Dems’ sick plot sunk me: ‘harass’ pol

WASHINGTON — Steamed upstate Rep. Eric Massa, who quit Congress yesterday amid allegations he sexually harassed a male staffer, said he was “set up” by Democratic leaders because he opposed President Obama’s health-care bill.

The freshman congressman, who said he was the “deciding vote on health care,” claimed he simply made an inappropriate joke about having sex with a male aide at a party — but corrupt Democratic leaders railroaded him to save the bill.

“This administration and this House leadership have said . . . they will stop at nothing to pass this health-care bill. And now they’ve gotten rid of me, and it will pass,” Massa (D-Corning) said Sunday on WKPQ radio in Elmira.

He also called White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel the “son of the devil’s spawn” and said a naked Emanuel confronted him in the congressional gym shower over not backing Obama’s budget.

“Do you know how awkward it is to have a political argument with a naked man?” he said.
