Pol’s bribe take $2M: feds

Federal prosecutors say a former Queens assemblyman took so many bribes, they doubled their first estimate to $2 million.

Anthony Seminerio has admitted setting up his own “consulting” firm and advising businesses, and individuals that wanted his help had to sign up.

One hospital executive, Tennessee native Tom Singleton, told FBI agents that he met with Seminerio at a Queens restaurant to discuss getting state aid for his financially strapped institution, according to a transcript read at a hearing yesterday.

The exec said after the meeting, he told his secretary, “You guys do things differently in New York than we do in Tennessee. In Tennessee it’s . . . considered a bribe.”

Assistant US Attorney William Harrington told the judge that Seminerio made around $2 million by charging for favors.
