“GYM” CLASS: He’s drawn comparisons to everyone from Green Day to James Taylor, but all kids will notice about Justin Roberts and his band the Not Ready for Naptime Players is how catchy the tunes are. CARTOON NETWORK: If your kid’s notebook is covered in doodles, head to Family Day at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art Festival. Rick Parker (Deadboy, Pekar Project) kicks things off with his “How To Create a Cartoon Character” workshop; later in the day, there’ll be sketching with Archie artists and a panel of YA graphic novelists. ACTING HIS AGE: For once, a production of J.M. Barrie’s “Peter Pan” that stars a 12-year-old boy in the title role (as opposed to a grown woman) and a multimedia flying scene instead of the usual actor on pulleys. There is one male character played by a female, however — Capt. Hook! 1 and 5 p.m., through May 9 (days and times vary); $18 in advance, $20 at the door.
