CHSAA baseball roundup: Mount edges Salesian, 2-1

The third one-run game proved to be the charm for Mount St. Michael, which picked up its first CHSAA win Tuesday, beating Salesian, 2-1, in The Bronx.

“It’s going to be that kind of year for everybody,” Mount coach Wally Stampfel said. “This was a win we desperately needed.”
