Mike Kahaly and John Petito each scored three goals and dished out two assists for St. Joseph by the Sea in an 11-6 win over Xaverian in CHSAA Class A boys lacrosse at Kaiser Field in Coney Island Tuesday. Steve Altini had two goals and an assist, Joe Timmons tallied two scores and Christian Miller added one. John Crifasi stopped 11 shots in net for the Vikings (2-1), who led from start to finish. Xaverian is 0-2.
St. Mary’s 12 (L.I.), St. Francis Prep 5: Sean McCann scored six goals and Nick Hutchinson scored five times and dished out two assists for St. Mary’s (1-1) in CHSAA Class A. Mike Powell scored twice and Semus Turner and Connor Kennedy had a goal and an assist each for St. Francis Prep (1-1).
