Starr Report

“The Talk” co-host Aisha Tyler, who’s no stranger to roles on series TV (she’s appeared on “24,” “Archer,” “Glee” and “The Ghost Whisperer,” among others) will guest-star on an upcoming episode of “Hawaii Five-O,” which airs on “The Talk” mothership CBS. No details, yet, on Tyler’s role, which is slated to air later this season.

Speaking of “no strangers to TV” stuff, Kim Coles will be here early next month at the Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd) with her one-woman show, “Oh, But Wait . . . There’s More!

The show chronicles the ups and downs of Coles’ show-biz career, which has encompassed “Living Single,” “In Living Color,” “10 Items Or Less” and hosting her own BET talk show, “My Black is Beautiful.” Coles has also appeared on “The Mole” and VH1’s “Celebrity Fit Club” as well as hosting BET’s “Pay it Off” game show — and, last summer, co-hosting “Are You Normal, America?” on OWN. So, in short, she knows from whence she speaks.

Coles also tours, nationwide, with The UNCF Empower Me Tour (empowering young people in academics, fiscal responsibility and personal excellence).

Her one-woman show, “Oh, But Wait . . . There’s More!” will be staged 7:30 p.m. each night from Friday through Sunday, Feb. 1-3.

“Boardwalk Empire’s” Chris Caldovino (Tonino) has just closed a deal to become a recurring character on the HBO series. Caldovino’s new deal guarantees he’ll appear in multiple episodes of the Prohibition Era-drama, set in Atlantic City and starring Steve Buscemi.

“Boardwalk Empire” is set to begin filming next month; last season, Caldovino played Gyp Rosetti’s (Bobby Cannavale) right-hand man (who eventually offed his boss).

Caldovino (who’s repped by Bob McGowan) just wrapped a role in Martin Scorcese’s upcoming movie, “The Wolf of Wall Street,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey.

Former “Early Show” anchor Rene Syler has returned to the TV landscape.

Syler, who left “TES” in 2006, is hosting a show called “Sweet Retreats” on Live Well Network, which helps travelers, who’d prefer not to stay in a hotel, find funky, affordable locations for family getaways, etc. (a houseboat in Philly, a townhouse in Nashville — you get the idea).

Living Well Network is available in the tri-state area on Cablevision (Ch. 729), Time Warner Cable (Ch. 163, 687), Verizon FiOS (Ch. 467, 468) and on WABC’s (Ch. 7) digital tier. Livewellnetwork.com has details.

Syler also has a Web site, goodenoughmother.com.
