2nd suit hits Hotel Edison

The Hotel Edison, already embroiled in a sex-harassment suit filed by ex-employees, is now facing a legal challenge from a thrice-fired 65-year-old desk clerk.

Michael Spiegel’s suit, filed this month in Manhattan Supreme Court, says he was canned because of his age and because he blew the whistle on safety hazards at the West 47th Street hotel.

The allegations come on the heels of a suit filed this month by four former staffers who claim the hotel’s general manager solicited sex from underlings and fired those who rebuffed him.

No one from the hotel’s management returned a call for comment.
