Weird But True

The most offensive costumes ever

Sick. Vile. Awful.

Two British teens participated in a nightclub costume contest dressed as the World Trade Center towers blazing on 9/11 – and won, The Sun reports.

According to the report, the costumes worn by 19-year-olds Amber Langford and Annie Collinge featured decorations depicting explosions, flames and even people “jumping” from windows.

The outfits were labeled “North Tower” and “South Tower,” and included hats showing what appears to be plane wreckage.

Somehow, the teens were crowned “best-dressed” at a Halloween party at Rosies nightclub in Chester.

According to The Sun, Langford’s father is a longtime pilot – and vowed to “have a little chat” with his daughter.

The Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks killed nearly 3,000 citizens across New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
