The feds shut down another Chinatown bus line yesterday, charging the company with failing to drug-test drivers and using shoddy replacement parts.
The US Department of Transportation called the Ming An bus company “an imminent hazard to public safety,” adding that the line’s drivers had gotten numerous speeding tickets.
The company operates low-cost buses to Georgia, South Carolina and other southern destinations from its headquarters at 59 Canal St.
The action came a week after the DOT shut down the Fung Wah bus line for repeated safety violations.
