It’s the dream of the crop at MetLife Stadium

This will be the biggest, baddest, best Super Bowl in the event’s XLVIII history. It is my Super Bowl guarantee, because this is my town, where the stars of sports and entertainment flock to shine and deserve the biggest and brightest stage.

It is also Steve Tisch’s town and Steve Tisch’s guarantee:

“The Super Bowl is being held in the greatest metropolitan area in the world,” the co-owner of the Giants told The Post Monday.

“The governments of New Jersey, New York State and New York City have cooperated in an unprecedented way to make this happen.

“We are as ready as we possibly can be.

“As New Yorkers and New Jerseyans, we are prepared for any and everything.

“We are prepared to host the best Super Bowl ever.

“It is also personally very exciting to have Eli’s big brother leading one of the teams.

“I am very proud to be a part of what promises to be an unforgettable event viewed around the world.

“Get some sleep this week. The fun starts Monday.

“As Jay Z put it: ‘These streets will make you feel brand new/The lights will inspire you/Let’s hear it for New York, New York, New York.’”

And, before Gov. Christie shuts down the George Washington Bridge, New Jersey, New Jersey, too.

Sometimes these Super Bowls become deflating footnotes to Super Bowl week. Not this time. Even at the end of a week of party-heartying and debauchery on and off Broadway, the game itself has the promise of a classic.

Peyton Manning, the 37-year-old face of the NFL, reaching for his second Super Bowl ring in his third try and at little brother Eli’s MetLife Stadium, against the loud and proud and rough and tough and tumble Seahawks of Pete Carroll, once the 42-year-old coach of the 1994 Jets before owner Leon Hess excused him to make way for Rich Kotite.

Peyton Manning, who by the force of his iron will, has made it all the way back from the four neck-fusion surgeries that threatened to end his Hall of Fame career.

Peyton Manning and his computer chip brain and relentless preparation having the luxury of two weeks to find the weaknesses in the swaggerlicious Seahawks defense.

Precocious Russell Wilson, who, with the help of Marshawn (Beast Mode) Lynch, will be trying to keep Manning on the sidelines for long stretches.

Peyton Manning, who won’t be afraid to throw at Richard Sherman and shut him up and send him to Heartbreak Hotel.

Richard Sherman, who will have his hands, if not his mouth, full with Demaryius Thomas.

Kam Chancellor, the biggest safety you will see, matched up with TE Julius Thomas.

Peyton Manning, sure to be looking for Wes Welker, a matchup nightmare for anyone, just ask Bill Belichick and Aqib Talib.

Peyton Manning against Earl Thomas, the fearless free safety ballhawk.

Percy Harvin, granted one last chance to go out with a bang.

“It’s the Super Bowl, so it’s going to be tough,” Julius Thomas said. “Nothing is going to come easy. I’m pretty sure you’re going to see two teams playing as physical as possible. This is for all the marbles, so I’m pretty sure it will be a tough game all around.”

“I know they’re a great football team,” Broncos coach John Fox said. “I know they got after us pretty good when we were out there in preseason.”

A game New York, New York deserves. Snow or no snow, cold or no cold (the forecast: no snow, only 20 degrees cold). Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium: If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.
