Man stabbed in head, robbed at Bronx subway

A man was stabbed in the head and robbed by thugs on a Bronx subway this morning, police said.

The victim was on a 5 train near East 180th Street and Morris Park Avenue at 9 a.m. when he was jumped by a group of hoodlums, cops said.

One of the thieves pepper sprayed the man and then the gang punched and stabbed him several times, including in the head, cops said.

They snatched the man’s Pelle Pelle jacket and fled from the train, cops said.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition where he is receiving stitches for puncture wounds to head and neck, cops said.

There were no immediate arrests.
