Yoko fracked up: foes

ALBANY — Yoko Ono and her band of anti-frackers are violating state law by failing to register as lobbyists, a natural-gas drilling association chief contends.

Brad Gill, executive director of the Independent Oil & Gas Association of New York, filed a formal complaint with state ethics cops about Artists Against Fracking’s failure to register and disclose funding sources.

The group led by Ono and son Sean Lennon has used ads, a Web site and a billboard to denounce high-volume hydraulic fracturing — which Gov. Cuomo has not decided whether to allow in New York.

The widow and son of murdered Beatle John Lennon and their group “have expressed concerns about fracking . . . with their own resources” and so haven’t had to register as lobbyists, Artists Against Fracking said. But the group added, “If there is a need to register, of course that will occur.”
