HERO
Kevin Garnett delivered a superb performance, racking up 16 points, 18 rebounds, five assists and two blocks. The Celtics star also drilled the game’s biggest shot, a jumper with 48.3 seconds left that gave the Celtics a seven-point lead and fended off a Knicks comeback.
ZERO
J.R. Smith returned from his one-game suspension and proceeded to shoot a miserable 3-for-14. Smith started the game 0-for-10, got called for a technical and was outplayed by rival Jason Terry.
KEY PLAY

KEY STAT
0-for-5 Carmelo Anthony’s shooting from 3-point range. He was 8-for-24 from the field overall, scoring 22.
