Alec Baldwin certainly Cannes sweep his wife off her feet.

The actor, 55, and pregnant yoga-instructor missus Hilaria, 29, made a romantic picture yesterday at the Cannes Film Festival.

They were at a photo call for “Seduced and Abandoned,’’ the documentary Baldwin made with director James Toback about trying to finance a film.

Baldwin donned a pair of sunglasses as he gave his smiling wife a lift for the cameras.

Hilaria, who has become known for stylish maternity duds, rocked her baby bump in a beautiful blue number.

The couple headed to the south of France after “Orphans,’’ the Broadway play Baldwin was in, closed early because of a weak box office.

“We did not have the result that we wanted,’’ he told The Associated Press. “In some camps we did. But the Times and things like that were rather unkind about the play and me.’’

Baldwin said it wasn’t like the NBC comedy show “30 Rock.’’

“I did the TV show and myself and everyone on the TV show, we won every prize they had three or four times in a row,’’ he said. “So doing the play was a bit sobering.’’

But, he added, doing the play was “a great, great privilege.’’ The movie, which is in Cantonese and English, will be released in China this summer. ,

Keanu Reeves, who was in Cannes promoting his movie “Man of Tai Chi’’ said it wasn’t easy going from being an actor to sitting in the director’s chair.

“As an actor you are concerned with your role, you are concerned with your story,’’ he told the AP. “The director’s side is much more other, it is looking out.’’

Reeves also stars in the movie, which he calls a ‘’contemporary Kung Fu film.’’
