Tears for bus-slay victim, 14

The best friend of the Queens teen shot dead on a city bus collapsed into tears at her funeral yesterday.

“I’m gonna really miss you baby, but I’m gonna hold [your] mama strong,” sobbed Shaquana Almonds, 16.

A line stretched around the block, as hundreds of mourners flooded the Greater Allen Cathedral of New York in Jamaica to say good-bye to D’aja Robinson, 14.

Shaquana was with D’Aja on the Q6 bus last Saturday in Jamaica when a gunman opened fire, shooting her friend in the head.

D’Aja’s mom, Shania Sands, passed out a typed message to mourners: “My beautiful baby girl, I am hurting tremendously now that you are gone . . . You will always have a special place in my heart.”

The bullets weren’t meant for D’aja, and police said the violence was gang related.

Law-enforcement sources said police questioned teen Nathaniel Parker, 16, but he was released without being charged after he lawyered up. He had been identified as a “person of interest” in the slaying, sources added. Police have identified other suspects they wish to question.

Anyone with information about the teen’s death is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1.800.577.TIPS (8477).
