Getaway driver for gun-toting robbers in Brooklyn has no legs

A crook drove a getaway car for two gun-toting robbers in Brooklyn yesterday — even though he has no legs!

“This is one getaway driver we won’t need the leg shackles for,” said a police source.

Ex-con Danny “Charles” Marcus, 40 — whose legs are severed at the knees — waited in a white van while Raheem Roberts, 21, and Darnell Cade, 35, put a gun to the chest of a 42-year-old man at 12:55 a.m. near Second Street and Seventh Avenue in Park Slope, police sources said.

The career criminals allegedly snatched his MetroCard, keys and $40, then jumped into the van.

Marcus then hit the gas — using special hand controls mounted on the steering wheel, sources said.

Sharp-eyed cops from the Brooklyn South Auto Larceny Squad later spotted the vehicle near Flatbush and Atlantic avenues.

Cops found a 9mm handgun and a wheelchair in the van.
