Thug with long rap sheet fatally stabs ex, attacks roomie after explosive fight

A career criminal was taken into police custody after he stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death at her Woodside home and attacked her roommate, police sources said.

Pedro Sanchez,38, got into an explosive argument with girlfriend Christine Seeber, about 5:35 p.m. yesterday at the 55th Street residence near Northern Boulevard—and struck her repeatedly in the face and torso with a blade, cops said.

Sanchez tried to take off, but bumped into her roommate as he was leaving, sources said.

When Seeber called 911, he punched her in the face and tried to flee the scene, sources said. She began chasing after him.

His brother also called the police, and said that he had assaulted someone, sources added.

Cops rushed to the scene in a patrol car, and cuffed him nearby.

EMS pronounced Seeber dead at the scene.

The suspect is no stranger to the NYPD with a rap sheet of more than 25 busts, including attempted murder, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, sources said.

Sanchez also has a domestic violence history with another woman, sources added.

He was being treated at Elmhurst Hospital for chest pain, as well as a cut to his hand.

Sanchez has been charged with second degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest, cops said.
