Alleged shooter of 14-year-old Queens bus rider brought back to New York to face charges

A man wanted for the shooting of an innocent girl on a Queens bus was hauled back to New York today to face charges connected to the shocking slaying.

Kevin McClinton, 21, was flown in from Cayce, SC, where he was apprehended, before he was taken to the NYPD’s 113th Precinct station house for questioning about last month’s fatal shooting of 14-year-old D’aja Robinson.

McClinton, in black-and-white jail garb, was then driven to central booking behind Queens Supreme Court. He didn’t utter a word when The Post asked if he had anything to say to Robinson’s grieving loved ones.

Robinson was riding the Q6 in Jamaica on May 18 when she was struck by a stray bullet, cops said. McClinton was aiming for another target, to settle a Facebook beef, when he allegedly gunned down Robinson, prosecutors said.

McClinton was nabbed yesterday and he’s scheduled to be arraigned later today. He’s been charged with second-degree murder, reckless endangerment and possession of a weapon.

If convicted of all charges, he’d have 25 years to life behind bars.

“The death of this young, talented 14-year-old is a senseless tragedy and another painful example of the mindless gun-related violence that too often takes innocent lives,” DA Richard Brown said.
