The Post’s Kevin Kernan handicaps the Albert Pujols free-agency sweepstakes now that the Cardinals first baseman has ended negotiations, for the time being, with St. Louis:
Cardinals (10-1): Give him The Arch, too. This could be a more expensive repeat of the Matt Holliday negotiations.
Rangers (50-1): Big-mouth owner Chuck Greenberg should go out and do something instead of sitting back and ripping the Yankees.
Dodgers (100-1): Once new owners take over, this move would get Dodgers on TMZ for something other than a divorce.
Angels (101-1): The Angels want to be the Big Dog in LA. Signing Pujols would make owner Arte Moreno relevant again.
Cubs (103-1): It’s been 103 years since Cubs last won a World Series. Signing Pujols would improve the odds of winning another one.
Yankees-Red Sox (150-1): You can never count these two out. Both teams’ DHs are in the final year of their contracts.
Orioles (500-1): Great ballpark for him. Big bucks would make Buck Showalter big winner.
Mets (1 billion-1): The Wilpons say they didn’t know about the Madoff Ponzi scheme. Maybe they don’t know Pujols will be on the market, either.
