Charlie Sheen offers Lindsay Lohan advice, telling her not to give in to ‘impulses’

Badboy actor Charlie Sheen offered some advice today to troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan: Try working on “your impulse control.”

No, really, Sheen said that.

“I have some things I think she should consider, cause I don’t tell anybody what to do,” Sheen said on The Dan Patrick Show. “Work on your impulse control. … Just try and think things through a little bit before you do them.”

Calling into the radio show for a second time this week, Sheen discussed Lohan’s recent legal troubles — including her arrest for allegedly stealing a necklace from a Los Angeles jewelry store.

“Just try to think things through a little bit before you do it,” said Sheen.

For his part, Sheen, who is undergoing substance-abuse rehab at his home, said he is ready to report to work March 1 for the taping of the CBS show “Two and a Half Men.”

“[I have] never been drunk, never been high on the set once,” he admitted. “But I would show up having not slept much.”

Sheen is one to talk about impulses. His treatment began after he was hospitalized suffering from “severe abdominal pains” on Jan. 27 following a reported 36-hour cocaine bender in the company of several porn actresses.

He was also more contrite about his bosses at CBS, saying how “grateful” he was when they “showed up at our house and said ‘It’s getting really obvious and we’re really worried about you.’ They came in man to man and said ‘We have to shut it down.'”
