Have a ball, America: Here are all the sad Dukies

No. 14 seed Mercer busted quite a few brackets Friday afternoon — whoops, there goes the billion bucks — by upending No. 3 Duke. No one seemed to mind.

Fans of the sport generally delight in marking a big, fat X through Duke’s line on the bracket. For most March Madness watchers, their favorite team — right after their alma mater and their predicted champion — is whoever’s playing the widely loathed Blue Devils.
