MIAMI – LeBron James wasn’t interested in discussing his first-ever flopping fine.
James, speaking with the media before Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers, did his best to deflect any attention from receiving his first-ever fine for flopping for his “double-flop” with Pacers forward David West in Indiana’s 99-92 win over the Heat in Game 4 Tuesday night in Indianapolis.
“It is what it is,” James said when asked for a reaction to the fine.
When asked if he’d earned it, James responded, “Man, come on. Quit it. Next question.”
The fine James received was the first fine or warning a Heat player has received for flopping this season. Both West and Lance Stephenson also received fines for flopping in Game 4, as well.
