Baryshnikov jumps

It looks like there will be no more white nights on the Hudson in posh Snedens Landing, NY, for ballet superstar and former “Sex and the City” love interest Mikhail Baryshnikov. He’s in contract to sell his stunning Rockland County home, known as the “Red Barn,” and an adjacent 1-acre lot for around $4 million.

The 5,880-square-foot mansion on Lawrence Lane overlooks the Hudson and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It sits on 1.12 acres and was on the market for $3.695 million. The home was a 19th-century barn before it was converted in the early 20th century and later expanded in the 1990s. But we hear that the buyer, a hedge-fund honcho with a home at 15 Central Park West, is planning a big renovation.

Small talk

TV financial analyst Vera Gibbons is selling her truly tiny studio at 860-870 United Nations Plaza for a decent-sized profit. Socialite/actress/heiress Dina Merrill is buying the 150-square-foot unit for about $230,000. Gibbons purchased it from the estate of Walter Cronkite for about $175,000 last year.

The apartment is part of a seventh floor full of small units that building residents have long used for servants, guests or storage.

“They are the size of a walk-in closet, but they look out onto the East River, so you can see all the boats. It’s really beautiful,” one insider tells us.

Puck fare

Former New York Ranger defenseman Darius Kasparaitis has sold his two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo at 205 E. 59th St. for $1.95 million. The apartment offers 10-foot ceilings, a gas fireplace and a balcony, and was last listed at $2.095 million. It was bought, we’re told, by an international couple with multiple homes who wanted a Manhattan pied-a-terre.

Kasparaitis and his fiancee, Lisa, now live in Stockholm with their three young children.

Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Victoria Shtainer had the exclusive listing.

A place with Stiles

Celebrity yoga guru Tara Stiles, whose clients include Deepak Chopra, has found a downtown Zen palace to call home. Stiles and her husband, Michael Taylor (CEO of social media marketing company Odyl), have bought a one-bedroom, two-bathroom condo at 90 Prince St. for $1.78 million. The 1,400-square-foot residence offers 11-foot ceilings, exposed brick and relaxation-friendly perks like a high-tech Lutron shade/lighting system (with blackout curtains) and a sound system wired in every room.

Stiles, the best-selling author of “Slim, Calm, Sexy,” is releasing a new DVD yoga series with Chopra and working on a new book, “Yoga Cures.”

Go to townhouse

The second phase of the High Line might be associated with architecturally distinct condos, but there are great townhouses nearby, too.

Yael Choukroun, owner of Frenchway Travel, has put her townhouse at 439 W. 21st St., steps from the High Line, on the market for $4.65 million. The four-story, 4,800-square-foot home is configured as seven apartments and comes with about 1,600 square feet of additional buildable space. The townhouse offers a deck, terrace and large garden.

Broker Regis Roumila, who just moved to Nest Seekers International from Keller Williams, has the listing.

We hear . . .

That the Stone Mansion, part of the massive former Frick estate in Alpine, NJ, has just dropped in price from $68 million to $52 million. The 30,000-square-foot, 19-bedroom home was built by developer Richard Kurtz and is listed by Dennis McCormack of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s . . . That funnyman Chris O’Dowd (“Bridesmaids”) and Allison Williams (daughter of NBC anchor Brian Williams) shot scenes for HBO’s new comedy, “Girls,” in a waterfront penthouse at the Edge condo complex in Williamsburg. The three-bedroom unit is listed for $2.56 million . . . That painter Jan Green has put her Catskills home, a fully restored former 19th-century grist mill, on the market for $689,000. The 4,500-square-foot residence is listed by Spire Group’s Mark Weinstock.
