‘How I Met Your Mother’ at two-year high

‘How I Met Your Mother” is gaining steam heading into its March 31 series finale.

The 200th episode of the CBS comedy drew its largest audience in more than two years, averaging 10.7 million viewers on Monday night.

“HIMYM” finished just a hair behind fellow CBS laffer “Mike & Molly” to rank as the night’s second-most-watched show. In the key demo of adult 18-49, “HIMYM” posted a 3.8 rating, its best showing since last February.

The milestone episode told the parallel story of The Mother (Christin Milioti) over the past eight years before she met Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor).

Its strong showing helped drive the rest of CBS’ Monday comedies to season highs: “2 Broke Girls” (9.9 million viewers), “Mike & Molly” (10.7 million viewers) and “Mom” (9.5 million viewers).

At 10 p.m., new drama “Intelligence” also averaged its best Monday audience (6.8 million viewers).
