ObamaCare’s unhealthy support

The Issue: A study showing that more Americans want ObamaCare repealed than want to keep it.

President Obama and the radical far-left wing of the Democratic Party not only passed the Affordable Care Act in a partisan fashion, but have done everything that way since taking office (“Fear Factor,” Editorial, July 29).

Obama forgot he was not just president of the radical left progressives. He has tried to govern as though there is only one party, never seeking consensus, never trying to unite the country and never seeking compromise.

Why do Americans feel fear and consternation over ObamaCare? It was divisive from the start, written in the dark of night, hidden from the people. That is what you get when you have to pass the law to find out what is in it.

The more Americans have found out, the less they like ObamaCare.

Obama and the Democrats need to listen to Abraham Lincoln: “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

Considering the upcoming effects of ObamaCare, if I were still an employer, I would now hire five part-time, 24-hour employees as opposed to three full-time, 40-hour employees. I would be saving the cost of coverage of ObamaCare and have two hours before overtime comes into effect.

But the employee suffers with less hours and is forced to pay for coverage.Ed Autumn
