A Brooklyn woman was viciously dragged down a sidewalk when a mugger tried to snatch her purse and she doggedly refused to let go, cops said Thursday.
The dramatic incident was captured on video, when the 46-year-old female was attacked as she walked along 57th street in Borough Park around at 11:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The thug is seen grabbing the bag, but the woman holds on for dear life — and winds up being dragged for some 50 feet.
The suspect eventually got hold of the purse and escaped.
The victim was taken to Maimonides Hospital, where she was treated for bruises to her back and head, authorities say.
Police describe the suspect as a male in his 20’s, standing 5-foot-10 and 140 pounds
