The soon to be ex-wife of an NYU doctor admitted in a Manhattan courtroom yesterday that she had indeed harassed and threatened to shoot her husband’s girlfriend.

Spurned wife Amy Goldenberg, 42, pleaded guilty to five counts of criminal contempt and harassment, answering yes to each one, in a conditional plea.

“I have a gun and I’m going to shoot her — so keep laughing,” she admitted to saying in a raging phone call to ex-hubby Ronald Goldenberg about his brunette girlfriend Einat Packman, 41. In one text message, she referred to Packman as “a loser, homewrecking whore.”

If she stays out of trouble for six months, prosecutors will reduce or dismiss the charges against the Closter, NJ, mother of three. If she doesn’t keep her end of the legal bargain, she faces up to four years behind bars.

“He was a deadbeat father, he was a deadbeat husband, but I believe in karma,” Goldenberg said as she left court, carrying a stylish pink Birkin handbag and wearing black patent peep-toe stilettos. “My focus is my kids.”

“It’s a nasty, dirty, contested ‘War of the Roses’ divorce,” said her defense lawyer, George Farkas, about the acrimonious split.

“What kind of man cheats on his wife and then takes great pains to have her arrested? Perhaps his next project will be to run for public office.”

Farkas claims her pulmonologist husband has intentionally incited her and then had her arrested in Manhattan four times between May 2012 and February of this year for violating an order of protection and a slew of other charges.

The formerly happy couple was married in an extravagant wedding at The Plaza hotel 16 years ago, but the relationship quickly soured, said a close relative.

“Amy wasn’t happy. Ron was a workaholic, and when he wasn’t working he was at the gym,” the relative said of the 44-year-old physician.

“It’s all about money,” said the relative. “He makes over $500,000 a year and doesn’t want to give her a penny — even though she worked to put him through medical school.”

The blond mom starts law school at Touro College in September and has a new sweetheart. “I’ve moved on and I’m enjoying my life,” she said.

Neither Ronald Goldenberg nor Packman returned calls for comment.
