Nearly half of those polled by Netflix said they’d be more willing to hit a treadmill if they could binge-watch their favorite shows during the workout.
Asked which TV genre they’d watch in the sweat-and-view sessions, poll respondents most favored comedy [36 percent], followed by drama [27 percent], science fiction and fantasy [24 percent] and reality [20 percent].
So couch potatoes could easily be turned into gym rats, according to workout guru Harley Pasternak.
“If you can only watch . . . on the treadmill, you’re going to find yourself wishing there were more hours in the day to work out,” he said.
