METS: Wheeler tallied his third quality start in his past four efforts with a 6¹/3-inning, one-run performance against the Diamondbacks in Saturday’s 4-1 win. The 23-year-old boasts a 3.70 ERA in those four starts — three of which were Mets wins.

PADRES: Ross, coming off Saturday’s seven-inning, four-hit, one-run masterpiece against the Reds in a 3-1 win, has been tremendous for four consecutive starts. The right-hander has compiled 27 innings in that stretch, allowing just 12 hits and four runs (1.33), leading San Diego to three wins.
