Beyoncé syncs to new low: Says OK to fake it

Lip-syncing star Beyoncé thinks there’s nothing wrong with faking her way through the National Anthem at President Obama’s Inauguration.

“Everybody uses these tracks, and the music director advised it. Any big outdoor live performance is almost always with some kind of track,” a source told Us Weekly in defense of the singer’s star-spangled sham Monday.

“She didn’t think there was anything wrong with it,” said the source, who insisted Queen Bey actually sang over a prerecorded version she made Sunday night.

Meanwhile yesterday, White House insiders blamed Sen. Chuck Schumer — whose special congressional committee arranged the Inauguration ceremony — for the public-relations disaster that has ensued from Beyoncé’s lip-sync fakery.

“All those decisions were made by the congressional folks,” said a White House source, pointing the finger squarely at the New York Dem.

Another source said Schumer milked the historic occasion for as much personal self-aggrandizement as possible while emceeing the event.

“He and his wife were Lord and Lady Schumer,” the source said.
