STARR REPORT

You won’t see Diane Saw yer on “Good Morning Amer ica” this week – but it’s not for lack of trying on her be half. Sawyer, in fact, is off cel ebrating her 20th anniversary with husband Mike Nichols in “destina tions un known,” and had to be per suaded by “GMA” exec producers and ABC News execs to take the time off (she didn’t want to miss the first full week of May sweeps).

Sawyer, in fact, hasn’t taken a vacation in quite some time, but staffers felt she earned the right to relax a bit after finishing three ABC News specials – in addition to anchoring “GMA” every day.

And, really, how often does a 20th wedding anniversary come around?

Last, but not least:

* Lil Mama visits TRL and BET today then heads to Roomservice for her album- release party.

* ABC’s “World News” airs tonight (6:30/Ch. 7) with a single sponsor to devote more airtime to news.

* Tomorrow: Ch. 4’s David Ushery emcees the annual Girl Scout Council of NY’s tribute dinner.

* Our story on Barack Obama visiting “Fox News Sunday” should’ve said he shunned the show for two years – and not FNC itself.
