Yeshiva perv gets 55 years

A Brooklyn yeshiva principal, convicted last year of molesting three young brothers, was sentenced yesterday to 55 years in prison as his victims and their parents slammed him.

Emanuel Yegutkin, 33, abused the boys after he became friends with their dad.

“He took away every childhood experience I ever had,” said one of the brothers, who gave a victim-impact statement via video link from Israel. “This man destroyed every piece of me. I wasn’t able to live with myself.”About 25 Yegutkin supporters crowded the Brooklyn Supreme courtroom to support the pervert.

Another victim said in court that every action Yegutkin took in the community — from his job as principal to his volunteering with Hatzolah — was done to place him in a position to abuse children.

Also yesterday, the 103-year sentence of Hasidic counselor Nechemya Weberman, 54, convicted of sexually abusing a young Brooklyn girl, was halved, according to Department of Corrections records.

He will not do more than 50 years in prison, because that’s the max a defendant convicted on his charges may serve.
