A survivor of the jet that splash-landed in the Hudson River after flying into a flock of geese says a government proposal to keep bird-strike data hush-hush doesn’t fly.

“The issue needs to be addressed openly, not swept under the rug,” Donald Jones said yesterday at an FAA hearing in Washington.

He walked away from the US Airways flight in January.

The Post last month revealed that the Port Authority misstated strike figures for local airports, claiming that the numbers had dropped when they had increased.
