The daughter of writer Jimmy Breslin died last night at Bellevue Hospital, after falling unconscious at a Gramercy-area restaurant early Friday.
A hospital spokeswoman said that 44-year-old Kelly Breslin died at 8:25 p.m.
Family members said she choked while eating at L’Express on Park Avenue South. Records show paramedics responded to a 911 call for a choking victim there.
She wasn’t breathing and the medics administered CPR before rushing her to Bellevue.
The restaurant’s owner, Simon Oren, said she did not appear to be choking and collapsed 15 minutes after the plates were cleared.
Kelly Breslin had been out with friends celebrating a pal’s birthday.
The cause of death was not known last night.
