Fiend convicted of baby mama, tot slays

A Queens man was convicted yesterday for the murders of his pregnant ex-girlfriend and her toddler.

Jimmy Humphrey was found guilty of strangling Linda Anderson and setting her lifeless body on fire. The blaze ultimately killed her 2-year-old son, Aiden Hayes, as he searched for his mom through smoke in their St. Albans apartment.

The verdict, which could net Anderson 50 years behind bars, brought no joy to the slain woman’s family.

“I’m not happy about the verdict. I really don’t know how to feel. My little sister, Aiden and Gabriel [the unborn child] are all gone,” said Anderson’s brother Rob, 40, outside Queens Supreme Court.

Anderson, 25, was seven months pregnant with Humphrey’s son when their relationship turned bloody on July 13, 2010.

Humphrey will be sentenced March 6.

“I’ll be all right, I love ya’ll,” said Humphrey, to his family after the verdict.
