Be kind to that stranger sitting next to you on the subway — it might be Kevin Bacon in disguise.
The “Footloose” actor said he rides the rails regularly — and has worn a prosthetic “to see what it would be like not to be recognized.”
“I didn’t like it very much; no one was nice to me,” Bacon told UPI. “People didn’t bother me, but they also looked right through me.’’
Bacon recently told People magazine he rides the subway every day. He likes to play Angry Birds, Solitaire and backgammon on his phone while riding the train.
“It’s the fastest way to get around the city,” he said.
But he may want to pay more attention to his surroundings. Several years ago, a thief swiped the star’s BlackBerry at a Seventh Avenue subway station. The actor went into action-hero mode and chased the thug, but lost him in the crowd.
