Teen shot in rooftop gunfight

Cops shot an armed teenager and apprehended another man after a gunfight erupted on a Brooklyn rooftop last night, police said.

An officer and a sergeant were responding to the call of shots fired on a Brownsville rooftop at 10:13 p.m. when a 16-year-old male turned the gun on them and opened fire.

Cops returned fire and hit the teenager three times, once in each arm and once in the leg.

The boy was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he is in stable condition.

The teen’s 22-year-old accomplice was also taken into custody at the scene, police said.

Charges against both are pending.

A Ruger revolver was recovered at the scene, police said.

The teen’s sister, Hennessy Mark, however, insisted the boy’s weapon was filled with only blanks.

Both police officers were treated for tinnitus at Jamaica Hospital.
