Joe Johnson added to three-point shootout

Joe Johnson will be getting his money’s worth in New Orleans next weekend.

Johnson, who will be representing the Nets in the All-Star Game – his seventh All-Star selection – next Sunday in the Big Easy, will also be one of eight participants in the 3-point contest during Saturday’s night’s All-Star festivities.

He’ll be one of five All-Stars in the event – along with defending champion Kyrie Irving, 2012 champ Kevin Love, Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry – in addition to Marco Belinelli, Arron Afflalo and Bradley Beal.

The Nets will now be represented on each of the three nights of All-Star Weekend, with rookie Mason Plumlee participating in the Rising Stars Challenge Friday night before Johnson will be in the 3-point contest Saturday and then Sunday’s game.
