‘Suicide’ train flub

A Bronx man narrowly escaped death yesterday after throwing himself in front of a subway train in Manhattan, cops said.

The 26-year-old straphanger leaped in front of an uptown 1 train at Columbus Circle at about 12:20 p.m., police said.

He luckily landed in the trough between the rails and was uninjured by the train. He did, however, suffer head trauma from his fall onto the tracks.

EMS took him to Roosevelt Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
