Shirtless, flare-waving protester disrupts Nadal-Ferrer final at French Open

A masked protester interrupted the French Open — and terrified tennis ace Rafael Nadal — by leaping onto center court with a lit flare yesterday.

The shirtless man, with the words “kids right” written on his belly, got within a few feet of Nadal.

“I felt scared at first,” said Nadal, who was about to serve for the second set against David Ferrer.

The anti-gay-marriage protest occurred in front of the Paris stadium’s VIP box, where Leonardo DiCaprio was sitting, and ended when security wrestled the man to the ground and hauled him away. Nadal beat Ferrer, 6-3, 6-2, 6-3, for his eighth French Open title.
