WATCH: Brazen armed robbers snatch $500 from Bronx Kennedy Fried Chicken

These thieves left a real paper trail.

Cops are hunting two thieves who walked into a Bronx Kennedy Fried Chicken last Thursday with a massive shotgun and made off with the entire register — followed by yards of receipt tape, cops said.

Surveillance video shows the duo calmly walking into the empty restaurant on Creston Ave. at around 1 a.m. with a single barrel shotgun as they approach the counter.

The man with the gun is seen racking the chamber as he wildly points the gun at employees while demanding cash.

The unarmed man, fed up with the worker’s time wasting, hops onto the counter and attempts to grab the register before it goes tumbling onto the floor behind the counter. The thief then yanks the machine up by its cord while his partner keeps the gun aimed at the workers and the men run off with a roll of receipt tape unraveling behind them.

Cops said the thieves made off with around $500 dollars. No one was injured.

The man with the gun is described as a heavyset black male in his 40s. The guy carrying the register is described as a black male in his 30s.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1(800) 577-TIPS.
