Throw another celebrity onto the reality show pile.
Cee Lo Green, a judge on NBC’s “The Voice,” will be the focus of “The Cee Lo Life,” which will air on TBS.
The six-episode series, set to premiere next year, will follow the record artist and executive as he teams with his friends — Big Gipp, Khuo and T-Mo — to bring their hip-hop group, Goodie Mob, back to the stage.
“With his distinctive voice, winning personality and remarkable ability to tap into a wide range of musical styles, Cee Lo Green has risen to the top of the music industry,” TBS/TNT and TCM president Michael Wright said in a canned statement.
Green’s reality show is not his only TV work outside of “The Voice.”
Last September, he inked a development deal with NBC — as has his “Voice” colleague, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine, who will develop programming for the network.
