The wife of Queens Congressman Gregory Meeks has decided against running for a City Council seat in a race where her husband already has a horse, sources told The Post.
Simone Meeks, who works for Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi, declined to comment yesterday, but several sources said she’s told supporters that she doesn’t plan to challenge Brian Simon, her husband’s aide.
The Post first reported on the potential triangle in the race to replace Councilman Leroy Comrie.
